“My favorite Key Club moment was during the first club meeting I attended. I remember that there was a lot of people and I didn't know anyone, nonetheless the atmosphere was pleasant and incredibly welcoming. At that time, I didn't know what Key Club was about but by watching the way people interacted with one another made me feel safe and motivated to keep assisting the meetings. The energy that Key Clubbers bring is an energy that makes others want to follow them and accomplish the things they had, at least that's how I felt during that first meeting. Key Club is not any other club; it is a mix of leadership, compassion, and sacrifice that can still be found in our complicated lives. The first impression is the most important and the first impression that Key Club had on me was of utter inspiration and contentment.

Key Club participates with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals by sponsoring fundraising events. Key Club members also participate in service projects at their local children’s hospital.

For decades, Key Club has partnered with the March of Dimes to give every baby a healthy start. Key Club members raise thousands of dollars annually through various programs, including collecting change, holding dances and taking part in March of Dimes’ signature event, March for Babies. Since 1994, Key Club has been Trick-or-Treating for Unicef and over the years has raised nearly US$5 million for iodine deficiency programs worldwide and HIV and AIDS programs in Kenya and Swaziland. Now it’s helping The Eliminate Project.
