Camps,Retreats,Conferences and Events Welcome to Paradise! Camp Anderson is a private Christian Camp and Retreat that has been called a ‘Little Slice of Heaven’. Only God could create a setting that is so beautiful and so unique. The camp is centrally located in the Southeast, about 45 minutes west of Gainesville on the banks of the historic and magnificent Suwannee River. We are on a deep, wide section of the river that is convenient to the Gulf of Mexico, and the largest concentration of fresh water springs in the world. Our Christian Youth Camp operates on weekdays from the beginning of June through the end of July and the camp facilities are available for Retreats, Conferences, Weddings, and Music Events for the balance of the year and on the weekends. Camp Anderson is a non-profit ministry with a Spiritual focus to see lives eternally changed to the glory of God. Because our goals are not financially motivated, our youth camp and retreat fees are some of the lowest in the Southeast.
