William CARNIMOLLA He is the kind of stylist that you can't stop and who doesn't stop anyway, one of those fashion people who can't fit in one role or in one activity, WILLIAM is a visionary and everything he undertakes becomes a real success. Only aged of 6, he was already dreaming of Fashion and found himself a passion for the culture of clothes. He chose to attend an Art class in a public school and to follow some drawing courses at " Les Beaux Arts" school to pursue his dream to dress women. He was easily graduated from artistic and drawing courses, just like a second nature. The "Fashion Bug" would never leave him ever for a second until he arrived in Paris, when he turned 16. After he started as an apprentice for few months at THIERRY MUGLER, he decided to move to Paris and follow the famous Studio Bercot’s class (Sewing school) and had a part-time job at the famous concept store, "Colette", to finance his studies by himself.
He met MARIO TESTINO who was immediately attracted by WILLIAM's aura, just like Hedi Slimane when he started to work for YVES SAINT LAURENT. In 1998, WILLIAM started a model career, to create his own place in the Fashion industry. After 3 VOGUE issues, shooted by BRUCE WEBER, STEVEN KLEIN and MARIO TESTINO in the same week, his career exploded. He obtained exclusive contracts with PRADA and JIL SANDER but also walked runways for MIU MIU, YSL, MOSCHINO, FENDI, CHRISTIAN DIOR and worked for the biggest magazines of the moment, which resulted in him obtaining all the contacts he’s always be dreaming of. Even though he knew this job was fabulous, at the top of his career, he chose to stop it. The need of creation was stronger than being a model. He didn't even have to consult his Address Book, because in 2000, TOM FORD, who was managing at YSL, asked WILLIAM to assist him. His role was to bring the "New Touch" to the creation studio. William is one of those rare stylist who is not afraid to work with different industries, no mater what, he’s always keeping that high fashion image at work. Today, his strength is to know what clothes fit your silhouette as same as choosing the right style. But not only how to make a garment, wear it also and even sell it. Will follow, a departure to New York City, where he will become a freelance stylist, working for famous personalities that he’s been working for, as a model. Back to Paris, WILLIAM will be called to style celebrities such as NOEMIE LENOIR, KATE WINSLET, EVA LONGORIA, ANDIE MAC DOWELL, EVA HERZIGOVA, CLAUDIA SCHIFFER and so many others... He’s been starting on TV with MADEMOISELLE AGNES on CANAL+ and obtained the title of Co-host on Pink TV. After this, Canal+ hired him again for a new show with Maitena Biraben « Nous ne sommes pas des anges » as Fashion chronic specialist. In 2005, D&G called WILLIAM to shoot him in the commercial for their new fragrance "The One", starring the famous super model GISELE BÜNDCHEN. He signed a contract with a model agency. Will follow shootings for magazines such as NUMERO, a runway for JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER, etc...William will endorse a double role: model and stylist for magazines and prestigious private clients. Then went back to his first passion: clothes! Consulting, assisting Miss Patty Wilson in New York, for big names such as
DOLCE&GABBANA, DIESEL, MOSCHINO, BABY FAT, HEATHERETTE. Those collaborations will bring work opportunities with celebrities such as BEYONCE, BRITNEY SPEARS, PARIS HILTON or KELLIS on different events. Today WILLIAM is working on his own, as a fashion consultant with compagny lique L’OREAL, LANCOME, DIESEL, MUGLER, IMG, PIAGET, BOUCHERON, VAN CLEEF&ARPELS , GALLERIES LAFAYETTES as LA REDOUTE ( the 1st French fashion platform purchase with an average of more than 7 million unique visitors per month present in 26 countries with over 10 million active customers) designing his own lingerie/ fashion clothing line for the past 4 years. William is as well the new Art Director of TATI ( present in129 stores in France and Barcelona, Spain, Katowice, Dubai and Poland) succeeding the designer AZZEDINE ALAIA and its collaboration with the brand. On the other hand, designing a exclusive WEDDING clothing line for 2 years, which has been launched in 2014. William is working as image consultant for MUSIC LABELS, DESIGNERS, MAGAZINES ( NUMERO/ VOGUE/ ELLE/ MARIE-CLAIRE/ TETU/ PREFERENCE/ POSE MAG/ GRAZIA / W and more) or people such as NOÉMIE LENOIR, MARILOU BERRY, KATE WINSLET, EVA LONGORIA, ANDIE MACDOWELL, EVA HERZIGOVA, CLAUDIA SCHIFFER, etc ... And with artists, on different style/ red carpet/ art direction/ image or special projects, such as: LARA STONE, INFERNAL, LADY GAGA, DJ MISS KITTIN, DJ LINA BRADFORD, THE DANCER AND ACTRESS SOFIA BOUTELLA, ALIZÉE, UFFIE, INNA for «CLUB ROKER» or M.POKORA on the album «MP3» alongside the music producer and rapper TIMBALAND.
STYLIST, DESIGNER, WRITER, TV HOST hosting his own FASHION TV show « OhMyMODE ! » on JUNETV. For the past 6 year has been endorsing the role of the FASHION SHRINK (on the chanel M6), all women love, with the French version of the famous TV show, « HOW TO LOOK GOOD NAKED » + for the past 3 years, freelance writer for several Fashion and Lifestyle magazines oe web site with his weekly FASHION TOOLS or is one page « William pleas HELP ! » as the master of the VOICI magazine FASHION POLICE. You can see him as special guest time to time on TV Chanel C8 , etc ;… etc … In 2013, his fashion tools/advice published in a book called DEMENTES ! «my fashion secret to use and dare !»
He is actually working on the second book coming in 2017 and a second TV show where William will reveal all his secrets on how to feel good and be happy. Since then William has worked freelancer as image director for various artists and record companies, directing his own film and music video for 2 years and is still in charge of fashion for the international magazine NARCISSE.
Coming soon: a WEBSITE + his work as CHIEF EDITOR for a new fashion magazine . He is saying about himself: “I Like everything I undertake: designing, Couture, RTW, Art Direction for shows and music, styling VIPs, Fashion shoots, hosting TV, writing… Or even recently a new story added to my fashion life with « OhMyMODE ! ». I feel like giving 200% all the time, and I love it. I’m a machine. When I sign for a project, I am dedicated to it until it is a full success, nothing else could please me more.
