This was my senior illustration thesis project. It consisted of adapting "The Inferno and the Butterfly", a young adult LGBT+ short story, into a 22-page young adult comic book. The story follows Alfred and Wilhelm, teenage apprentices to rival magicians during the Victorian era. Over the course of the story, the two characters find love and realize the sinister nature of their respective mentors. This story was originally written by Shaun David Hutchinson.
