• Place 1 sugar cube, 3 dashes Angostura bitters, a slice of orange peel, and a splash of water in the bottom of a rocks glass. • Use a wooden muddler to crush sugar and muddle the orange peel. • Pour 2 oz. rye whiskey. • Add ice; stir until chilled.
• Pour 2 oz. blended Scotch whiskey, ¾ oz. vermouth, and 1 dash Angostura bitters into a shaker with ice. • Shake well until mixed and chilled. • Strain drink into a chilled cocktail glass. • Garnish with a twist of lemon or a cherry.
• Place 2 sugar cubes and 4-5 mint sprigs in a tall glass. • Gently muddle until sugar is crushed and mint aroma is released. • Add 2 ½ oz. bourbon whiskey. • Fill glass with crushed ice and stir gently until glass becomes frosty. • Garnish with a mint sprig.
• Fill rocks glass with ice cubes and let glass become frosty. • Add 1 part rye whiskey, 1 dash bitters, and 1 dash pastis. • Top with champagne.
• Pour 1 ¾ oz. whiskey and 1 oz. peanut orgeat into a rocks glass with ice. • Stir, then top with Coca-Cola. • Garnish with roasted peanuts.
• Mix 1 oz. simple syrup, 2 oz. fresh lemon juice, and 5 oz. whiskey in a shaker with ice. • Strain into martini glass or tumbler full of ice. • Garnish with maraschino cherry.
• Mix 2 oz. Irish cream liqueur and 1 oz. rye whiskey in a cocktail shaker. • Strain into ice-filled glass. • Top with ¼ cup cold milk and a dash of cinnamon. • Stir gently.
• Place 1 cup fresh squeezed blood orange juice, 2 tbs. agave, and ½ cup whiskey in a cocktail shaker, and stir until mixed. • Add 1 chopped, medium-sized jalapeño (with stem removed) to the shaker. Cover, then shake 3 times. • Immediately pour into a highball glass filled with ice, straining out the jalapeño. • If too spicy, add sugar as necessary.
