Is it the tradition? Damascus Steel: Carrying on the ancient Indian sword making techniques from the 300 B.C., hand forged Damascus steel blades from William Henry are distinctive for their unique, organic patterns which echo the shapes of flowing water while maintaining a modern edge.
Forged with a minimum of 300 Damascus billets, each blade is strong enough to resist shattering and dullness, yet iconic enough to remain a work of art.
Is it the craft? Our fine hand-engraved knives on stainless steel and titanium is renowned for its intricacy and attention to detail. With influences harkening Japanese Maki-E lacquer techniques, Indian Koftgari gold and silver manipulation and Aztec art, we combine the art and history of the world to create new and original designs.

Is it the artists?
Like our materials, we go where the art takes us to create only the finest original luxury knives.
Under our guidance, each of our artists and engravers takes from their own experiences to create one of a kind pieces. We’ve worked with names such as: • Andrew Biggs • Lee Downey • Ford Hallam • Jake Newell
Clockwise L to R: Lee Downey, Jake Newell, Ford Hallam & Andrew Biggs.
Is it the exclusivity? Natural materials, state of the art technology, traditional techniques and one of a kind designs, those are the trademark qualities you’ll only find at William Henry.
Made in truly small quantities, most of our collections are limited to 100-200 pieces with many less than that. This is compared to other luxury brands who offer 1,000 quantity pieces as “exclusive” collections.
It’s more than a knife…
At William Henry, it’s more than a pocket knife we’re creating. It’s a work of art. It’s a statement. It’s a testament to our shared heritage…But that’s not what makes our pocket knives unique…

Like each of our pieces, the William Henry man’s story is his own.
