Ghost Recon Wildlands: A Breath of Fresh Air in the Open World Formula of Ubisof
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is a new Ubisoft video game that was recently released in March 2017. It is one of the most anticipated games in 2017 because the Ghost Recon series has been on a hiatus for quite some time now. The question is, does it deliver? Well, not quite in the eyes of many as it only has a Metacritic score of around 70 from the critics and 6.0 from the fans. They praise the beautiful environment and vast provinces of Bolivia. However, they criticize the feel of emptiness when you are playing alone. This is why I am going to tell you that this is a well-made game as long as you play with your friends until the end.
Playing solo is universally accepted as boring since the game feels like a Far Cry MMO with its repetitive missions and side activities on its several regions. Yes, this game is probably the largest map the Ubisoft has ever created, and it consists of more than fifteen provinces to explore and fight drug cartels. Each province may
have different looks, but the side missions to free these regions are mostly the same, which quickly dries out after doing two to three provinces. Ghost Recon Wildlands does not stop you from playing solo since it will give you 3 AI teammates, whom you can give commands. The combat in this game is actually good since you can do different things to complete the side missions. There are no fixed pre-requisites to complete it, which leads to fun experience at first. Again, it quickly dries out when playing solo.
Ghost Recon Wildlands actually encourages the players to do public matchmaking with strangers so they can experience the maximum satisfaction when playing this game. Once the player connects with another player, all the AI teammates will vanish, and you will be playing as aduo or more, depending on how many friends/strangers join you. It is also highly recommended to have a mic when playing this game since communication is actually key to do some missions. Multiplayer makes the game harder, depending on how agreeable the different players of the team. However, it definitely makes the game more exciting and fun. Players cannot just run and go shooting and blazing in the enemies’ territory. It is
a death sign since the enemies are actually not quite dumb in the game, and players can be overwhelmed as they are vastly outnumbered by the enemies. Ghost Recon Wildlands is one of the best Uplay Games. If you have a crew, the game is probably an 8/10 since you do not have to deal with the monotonous missions alone. You can explore the Bolivia together and do some awesome things together. Free the region your own way and it will lead to a hilarious ad satisfying experience.
