God's Love John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Our scripture text make a powerful statement regarding God's love for humanity to the point that He gave His best for mankind so that all who believe on His Son Jesus will spend eternity with Him. This verse reveals the heart of God and His purpose for all humanity in that His love embraces all humanity. To experience the love of God and have an intimate relationship with God one must believe on His Son. To have the gift of eternal life is to accept His Son Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The sacrificial death of God's only Son Jesus is the ultimate expression of God's love toward humanity. Regardless of one's location God's love is there. Reflect on the Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace and Daniel in the lion's den, God was there and expressed His protective love. This principal applies today. All mankind is the recipient of God's inescapable love whether a believer or non-believer. The non-believer is the beneficiary of God's love in that He wakes every person each morning of his or her life. All humanity moves, live and breathe because of God's love. This is because God is the essence of man's being from the beginning of one's life to the end. God's love is on constant display providing for all our needs, both spiritual and physical. There is no escaping God's love. Comments are welcome Author's contact white3285@sbcglobal.net http://willie-writing.blogspot.com
