O Ye Give thanks Unto The Lord Psalm 100:1-5 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep are His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; less be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations. Today's scripture texts is normally quoted or recited at Thanksgiving because it speaks to the goodness of the Lord while reflecting on His goodness throughout the year. Our text also speaks to offering praise and worship to God as it encourages believers to make a joyful noise unto the Lord and this should be performed by all nations. He is the God of the universe as He sustains all creations. He is worthy of all praises, honor and glory. Recognizing that yes He is the God of the universe is worthy of coming before His presence with singing praises to His holy name and a glad heart. To further note that God's goodness and His truth lasts for ever. That being said, God is an unchanging God who is steadfast in what ever He promises will come to pass. When He promised to supply all our needs and He does. Praise Him! Praise Him in the loudest voice possible.
