Olympic Athlete visit We were very lucky to have a visit from the Olympic shot putter and discus thrower, Eden Francis on Wednesday 12th June. The children completed a training circuit and we raised a whopping ÂŁ566.91!

Exploring our new sensory garden Our new sensory garden is finally finished and it is absolutely fantastic! The garden has been designed and developed with pupils and is based on the Fibonacci sequence, a mathematical concept.

European Visitors On Wednesday we hosted 30 visitors from across Europe. As part of our NEMESIS project (social innovation) project Headteachers and teachers from across Europe came to visit our school to see what English schools have to offer. They were amazed! They could not believe the amount of work that our pupils do and the outstanding work of all our staff. They were wowed by displays, how articulate our pupils were and could not believe the fabulous ground we have.

Trailblazer We are very excited to announce that we have been accepted onto the Trailblazer pilot run by Rotherham and Doncaster NHS. The pilot scheme is part of the Government response to the consultation on Transforming Children and Young People’s Mental Health Provision. It is hoped that through the pilot we will be able to offer even more support than we already do to pupils that are present mental health needs including anxiety, low mood, ADHD and are at risk of self-harm. Mrs Forshaw along with the Pastoral team are working very hard alongside the NHS team in order to develop this programme so that it can be up and running ready for the new academic year.
