Dear Parent/Carer

Stratford upon Avon On Wednesday, 23rd October, 2019, the Year 5 children enjoyed a very rainy Residential visit to Stratford upon Avon. They visited Shakespeare’s birth place, where he lived with his family and the church where he and his family were buried. The children also visited Mary Arden’s farm and went on a boat trip. Thank you for all the parent’s support on the blog and our teaching staff for giving up their time.

Butterfly House Over two separate days 4th and 5th November, 2019 the Year 3 children were taken on an educational visit to the Butterfly House this links to learning on rainforests in the classroom.

Remembrance Day “On the 11th Hour on the 11th Day of the 11th Month, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM” On Monday we held a special service to remember those that fought and died in the war. We held our Remembrance service in the centre circle, with children contributing to the service with prayers and poems. All children showed great respect throughout the two minutes silence and really thought about our fallen hero’s.

Staff Privacy We have sadly had a number of incidents recently where staff have been photographed by children during non-school time. These photos have then been shared within friendship groups. This has made staff feel extremely uncomfortable and unable to enjoy being out and about with friends and family as they are constantly on alert of this potentially happening. Please discuss with your child about appropriate use of mobile phones and social media/messaging.
