Newsletter Friday 23rd October
Thank you and have a wonderful half term! We are aware that the continuing COVID-19 situation is becoming frustrating and the constant changes to guidance is causing some confusion - we will continue to keep you updated as the situation develops over the coming months. We will also continue to do all that we can to keep the school community safe whilst trying to remain patient and know that we can only do our best following the guidelines issued to us. We also fully appreciate all that you are doing to support school and keeping your own families safe. Mrs Adams, Head of School

Live lessons
We have been really proud with how our Y5 and Y6 pupils have engaged in their home learning whilst isolating for two weeks. The children have enjoyed live lessons where they have accessed targeted teaching from their class teachers and enabled them to say hello to their classmates. They have also thoroughly enjoyed using Google Classrooms, the new platform we are using for home learning.

On another planet ...
Y5 have thrown themselves into their Immersive Reading Text, The Jamie Drake Equation. In a part of the story, Jamie’s teacher, Mrs Solomon, asks Jamie’s class, ‘Can you imagine an alien world?’ This got them thinking about what their own alien worlds would look like…. Your generous donations have been greatly appreciated and will make a huge difference to local families in need. If you have not seen our harvest celebration please make sure you visit our school website or use the link on Dojo to view it. The children have worked extremely hard contributing to our celebration.
