ARE WE ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE? Y5 participated in a P4C enquiry based on the text ‘Here we are.’ We built our discussion around the question, ‘Are we alone in the universe?’ What do you think? Investigating Rocks Y3 have been investigating the properties of rocks. We have been looking at permeability and density. The children used excellent teamwork skills to investigate different rocks before using their communication skills to discuss their findings using the scientific vocabulary they have learned.

Northumberland

Year 6 had a wonderful week exploring the amazing sights of Northumberland. They visited Bambrugh Castle, went on a boat trip to the Farne Island, rockpooling and also ventured over to Holy Island in search of St Cuthbert's beads.

Please plan any holidays during these times.

A huge congratulations to Miss Bennett and the new addition to her family. She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy last week! HERRINGTHORPE JUNIOR SCHOOL, CHATTERTON DRIVE, ROTHERHAM. S65 2JW.
