We have been so proud of everything the children have achieved and extremely appreciative of all your support and kind messages - Thank you. We wish you all a wonderful summer going on adventures, seeing family and friends, and generally just enjoying time together as a family. We look forward to welcoming you all back in September! Goodbye Year 6!

We held our end of year celebration and send off for our year 6’s last week. They enjoyed a wonderful morning having a beach party and an awards ceremony to celebrate the wonderful achievements they have had over the past 4 years. Good luck year 6 at your new schools we will miss you!

We are looking forward to our end of year celebration assembly on Monday where we will be celebrating some of the wonderful achievements our children have had over this academic year.

Animation

Diary dates

Y5 have explored the different life cycles of living creatures. Some of us used animation to explain the life cycle of a bird. They then presented their findings to the rest of the class and discussed the similarities and differences between life cycles of living things.

Reminders

Start and finish times for next week remain the same as they have all year. Punctuality please make sure you are arriving in your allotted time slot. Children are arriving late and then potentially walking in with another bubble.

Updates

Any updates on routines will be share via email and posted on the school Dojo account over the summer holidays. Please make sure you have a look before returning so that you can see what the changes are. If you have not yet signed up to Class Dojo please do so so that you can keep up to date.

LEAF Centre update … … it’s taking shape nicely! We are hoping that we will be able to get the centre partially up and running in October so that we can begin to offer the additional support the pupils with SEHM needs.

If your child tests positive on or before Monday 19th please inform school so that we can carry out our track and trace responsibility. You can email or text school via Arbor. Alternatively send a message to the whole school Dojo account. Thank you

Symptoms *High temperature *Persistent new cough *Loss of taste and/or smell If you or your child have any or all of these symptoms you must isolate and call 111 for advice as you may need a test. Call 119 for a test or order online. Inform school if your child is being tested.

Lateral Flow home testing kits are now available for families to test at home. If you get a positive test from this you must then book a PCR test to confirm the result. Please inform school as you will need to isolate. We would encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to help protect our school community. All current measures in school will remain the same. You will be informed if changes are made. Please remember: * Face coverings * One parent drop off/pick up * Maintain social distancing You risk not being allowed on site if you choose not to follow these measures.
