If you wish to experience a weekend detox break then we have a small number of places available on every retreat for weekends only. This normally commences on the Friday afternoon and guests may stay until Monday afternoon though you may arrive on the Saturday if you wish. The programme is similar to the 7 & 14 day detox programme, the main parts of which can be viewed on the what’s included page. You still get the individual 1 on 1 health consultation as long as you arrive on the Friday or the Saturday morning. The raw food training is done on the Thursday so you will not get a chance to experience this unless you arrived on the Tuesday instead. It is possible we can accommodate this so please ask us for details when you call or fill in the enquiry form.
A detox break is a pleasant way to experience a cleanse, but because you are only with us for a 3 days we will not give you the full detox programme and instead a gentler introduction which is more of a cleanse.
7 & 14 Day Detox Our 7-day detox programme is the most popular programme that we run, but the 14 day retreat is really good for those wish to go much deeper into their detox and for those who wish to lose lots of weight it can be the perfect solution. We run 7-day and 14-day programmes at our beautiful retreat venue, Bindon Country House and you can expect wonderful results that can truly change your life. 21 & 30 Day Detox “The 21-day and 30-day packages are tailored to individuals personal circumstances but normally we will start you on the juice and begin to integrate food from about day 12″ Psychologists will tell you that if you can maintain a pattern for at least 21 days it starts to become a habit, or even a new habit. Most of our behaviours are of course defined by our habits, moulded over time and engrained, whether they are positive or not. When you come to Amchara for your 21-day, 3 week program or for the 30 day program you are making a major commitment to Change For Good. And engraining new habits and behaviour patterns into your mind and neurology.

Some of the outcomes you can expect for the 21 day or 30 day are as follows; Weight Loss If weight loss is a big driver for you then you can expect to lose up to 3 stone or 20 kilos. Weight loss varies and of course it depends on how much you have to lose or wish to lose in the first place. If weight loss is not a factor for you then we adjust your program accordingly. Detox In 21-30 days you can eliminate a huge amount of toxicity from your system, if not all. If you have a toxic relationship with food this can be hugely redressed. Relationship with food Culturally our relationship with food is deranged and a huge part of our focus is to help you form a new positive relationship with food. Juice Fasting
Juice fasting is a powerful way to help to cleanse the body. Our detoxification program works on 2 simple principles, elimination and replenishment. The replenishment aspect is giving the body all it needs nutritionally. Our standard program is 4 juices per day though we can tailor the juices for individuals if required. Juice Fasting The juices contain different combinations of, pear, apple, carrot, beetroot, celery, cucumber, courgettes, broccoli, lemon, lime and ginger. Whilst on a juice fast you are massively cutting your calories to approximately 500 per day, but you are not cutting the nutrients that you require, in fact quite the reverse. Your freshly made organic juices are bursting with nutritional goodness and mineral goodness too. The juices also contain enzymes that work as catalysts that help our bodies natural healing processes.
Raw Food Training Delicious, simple food that tastes amazing and is very good for you! On the final day of your detox retreat we show you how to create healthy, tasty raw cuisine. There will be an afternoon raw food class with our raw food chef demonstrating the ease and simplicity of raw food preparation. You will receive raw nutritional knowledge and sample delicious raw recipe creations for lunch and dinner along with top tips to enable you to feel fully confident and knowledgeable in preparing raw cuisine. You will understand more about what it means to be raw and what balance to have with cooked food in your diet. You will be fully equipped for making raw nutritional lifestyle choices on your onward journey beyond Amchara and receive lots of delicious recipes to take home.
