Salmon Fishing Sacramento River and Feather River can be excellent from mid July through November when the seasonal salmon runs sends upwards of one million king salmon into the Sacramento River system.

Salmon Fishing on the Sacramento River is finally on the upswing. The Sacramento River is one of the largest river systems in the Western US. It boosts hundreds of miles of access, but we focus on area where Salmon Fishing on Sacramento River is best.

Salmon Fishing on the Feather River is unique as the river is a tributary to Sacramento River. The Feather River is a small river only fifty miles long, which makes Salmon Fishing on the Feather River special due to the smaller river and many times fewer anglers. The Feather River Salmon Fishing season opens July 16, 2013 and closes mid October. The areas in which we focus Salmon Fishing on the Feather River is from the Yuba City area up river to the town of Oroville.

Both the Sacramento River and Feather River are visited by anglers from all over the world due to excellent opportunities for multiple species such as, King Salmon Fishing, Steelhead, Sturgeon, Striped Bass and Shad.

The section starting below Shasta Dam has excellent Sacramento River trout fishing, a robust world-class catch and release fishery for large wild rainbow trout.
