Digipak Style File

These are some examples of album artworks that I like. I have looked at these because it is important to have a cover for our digipak that will appeal to our audience. In particular, I like how Porter Robinson’s covers all contain the same recognisable icon (the kaomoji【＝◈︿◈＝】). If it is possible I want to feature a recognisable icon on our digipak to make our artist stand out and be noticeable. Also, I like how the Zomboy albums have the same colour scheme of the dark blue tint and orange accent colour. They are also the only albums to feature the record label on the front cover. Furthermore, I also like the abstract and minimalistic design on the Dillon Francis cover (bottom right). It is very angular, symmetrical and simple which is appealing because an album cover with loads of text and images can be off putting and boring.
