The mission of the MOYU brand is to produce notebooks but without single use paper, without paper waste and without deforestation. Believing in a world without deforestation, MOYU makes notebooks from erasable stone paper. This paper protects trees, the water supply and does not require the use of bleach. Stone paper is also rewritable upto 500 times, making this product highly recyclable.

Grass Paper is an environmentally friendly and sustainable product due to the significantly reduced water and energy consumption required compared to using only virgin fibres. Vibers are natural fibers created from fast-growing Dutch Elephant Grass (Miscanthus x Giganteus). Elephant grass grows locally on marginal soils in the Netherlands. Pesticides and irrigation are not necessary during cultivation of this grass. Vibers are suitable for making sustainable materials such as paper and cardboard, bioplastic and bioconcrete. The use of elephant grass helps to lower CO2 emissions, creating a better and more sustainable environment.
