Accord On Fire And Building Safety In Bangladesh

The Accord is a legal agreement to improve fire- and building safety for the textile industry in Bangladesh. More than 2 million workers are affected with the Accord improvements, which makes it one of our most important initiatives for social responsibility.

BSCI (BUSINESS SOCIAL COMPLIANCE INITIATIVE)

BSCI is an initiative for companies that are committed to improve working conditions in the global supply chain. The BSCI Code of Conduct contains requirements on minimum wage, working hours, prohibition of child labour and several other important criteria.

Textile Exchange

Textile Exchange is an international non-profit organisation working for the responsible expansion of organic cotton production. While the demand for organic cotton is increasing, the available production is not sufficient.

Hand In Hand

Hand-in-Hand fights poverty with entrepreneurship. In approximately 7 years - 1,7 million jobs have been created in some of the world’s poorest countries. As a result, 5 million people are no longer living in extreme poverty and hundreds of thousands of children has been able to attend school. We support Hand-in-Hand with funds to enable three villages to participate in the project.

Clean Shipping Index

The Clean Shipping Index aims to impact the shipping companies to use cleaner vessels and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and chemical contamination of our seas.

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100

means that environmental consideration is taken during the manufacturing process and that the garments do not contain any harmful substances. More about Oeko-Tex can be found on www.oeko-tex.com
