Aptly named, Resplendence MedSpa in Los Angeles, California, takes beauty beyond skin deep. Each client who walks through their doors receives an in-depth holistic evaluation of wellness and aesthetic needs. Utilizing state-of-the-art medical equipment, the team identifies any root causes or medical conditions affecting the client. The experts at Resplendence then tailor a medical and enhancement plan with long-term benefits based on that analysis. THE FACILITY A departure from the cold and sterile medical office stereotype, the Resplendence MedSpa space feels like a luxurious and inviting oasis designed to add to a clients' wellness experience. To create a clean and modern look that incorporates the owner’s unique Eastern European heritage, the talents of Simour®, an interior design firm that specializes in healthcare settings, were sought. From the waiting area to the patient rooms, the Simour® team chose bold accent colors and complementary finishes that are natural, warm, and fresh to create a space that supports the Resplendence mission to provide unprecedented comfort, functionality, and healing. THE SURFACES While scoping out the Resplendence project, Simour® turned to Wilsonart for its High Pressure Laminate and Quartz selections. For a subtle woodgrain finish that offers a clean look, Ghost Maple Y0694 laminate from Wilsonart’s Virtual Design Library boutique laminate collection was used for the reception and waiting area display shelves. On the countertops, Simour® utilized Wilsonart® Quartz in Coastal Q4036 for an exquisite, marble-looking design that adds a vivid yet soothing effect. To balance the bright countertops, Grey Elm 8201 — a classic straight grain with modern appeal — was used on casework, providing the right touch of warmth and splendor. T H E PA R T N E R S H I P Bringing a client’s dream to life requires people, tools, and solutions that make selecting finishes and envisioning a completed space simple. For the Resplendence project, Simour® utilized the Wilsonart Visualizer to assist with surface selections. “As designers, we love the Wilsonart Visualizer tool as it gives us the ability to mix and match designs,” shares Simour® CEO & Founder, Mitra Silva. “Wilsonart also provides a wide range of design selections and texture options. As a company, we like to use modern, clean finishes that have a luxurious essence. We have chosen to use Wilsonart products for every project because clients simply love it. There are always great design choices, quick-ship or in-stock samples readily available, and no wear-and-tear issues.”
