Local Artist Abby Paffrath
For Abby Paffrath, creating art is a way to slow down, observe and connect with her surroundings. Her distinctive batik paintings, a technique using hot wax, dye and fabric, as well as her painted skulls and antlers, or “trophy art, reflect her unique translation of the local wildlife, vistas and scenery in and around Jackson Hole. Through her work, she hopes to convey
“the vibrancy of life and splendor of the natural world.
