TJ Scott, the Assistant General Manager of Winchester Country Club, will leave the Club in early November. TJ has been here for the past five years and has done an outstanding job in the two roles he has held. He, his wife, and two children will return to the Monterey area to be closer to his wife’s family. TJ has accepted the Club Operations Manager position at the Beach and Tennis Club overlooking Stillwater Cove and will be a new addition to Pebble Beach Resorts.
This past week, Nicolas Duchesne started with the Club as the Director of Club Operations. Nic has been active in the Club industry for many years. He was born to a French father and an American mother in Paris, France. He has two children, Lola (15) and Max (13), who reside in Sacramento. He attended Elizabethtown College (PA) and Strasbourg University (France) and has a degree in French Literature (BA) and International Business.
Having spent his career in hospitality and club management with the last two clubs in the Sacramento area, Del Paso Country Club and Sutter Lawn Tennis Club, his love for the Club business is natural. He learned the game of golf from my mother and tennis from my father. Nic likes to say, “if you love what you do, it does not work. It’s your passion”. Please welcome Nic to the Club.
