LOCAL FITNESS STUDIO SUPPORTS WINDERMERE Over 150 people attended a free open day in February held by Bodyworks Fitness in Cranbourne, whereby over $1000 was raised for Windermere Child and Family Services. “Bodyworks Fitness is committed to working with and supporting local charities, like Windermere”, said Bodwyorks personal trainer, Cameron Boehm. “We are extremely proud and excited to be able to contribute funds to the wonderful work Windermere does, to assist the people most in need within our community”, he said. The day, sponsored by BSC and Sportsco in Cranbourne, was extremely successful and complimented with a number of activities including training challenges, raffles & prizes, BBQ and supplements tasting. A charity auction also assisted in raising the much needed funds and capped off a day of great community spirit. “Windermere are very pleased with the support from Bodyworks Fitness”, said Meleea Wood, Community Participation Coordinator. “It’s great to see local businesses giving back to those most in need within the community”, she said. The generosity of Bodyworks Fitness will assist Windermere Child and Family Services in continuing to provide children, families and individuals in our community, with much needed services, ones that otherwise could see them on long waiting lists. -Ends-
