Playground Antics

A structured group to improve your child’s gross motor skills and confidence in the playground

Learn information and activity ideas to help support your child in developing their gross motor skills (climbing, jumping and ball skills) in preparation for kinder and school.

Venue:

Encourage your child in the development of other important independence skills like taking off and putting on jackets, jumpers and shoes, opening containers and packets at snack time and learning to follow the rules of games.

Please Note: Parents are expected to participate in all activities and will be responsible for assisting their child throughout the group.

Dates: 8 weeks during term. Every Wednesday from 21st October to 9th December

Time: 1.15pm - 2.45pm

What to bring: Snack Ideas: Small tub of fruit, Tub of yoghurt, Packet of dried fruit, carrot and celery sticks.

What to wear: • Comfortable clothing and runners for you and your child • Jacket and shoes for your child to practice putting on • Hat and sunscreen Please DO NOT bring any nuts or nut products (including Nutella).
