Resilience for Life is an interactive program developed to give adults positive coping skills to better navigate challenging life experiences, and effectively manage the associated feelings – to be resilient for life!
For: Tailored for adults with a disability within a day program setting.
Dates: Thursdays 5th, 12th 19th & 26th November 2015
Aims: • Develop the skills of mindfulness and relaxation
Venue:
• Explore thinking in positive ways
Toomah Community Centre 15 Golden Green St, Pakenham (wheelchair accessible & ceiling hoist on site)
• Develop problem solving strategies • Learn ways to deal with conflict
Time:
• Understand the meaning and importance of resilience
10am - 12pm
• Find out the benefits of a healthy mind and body
$5 per session
