Guest speaker Stephanie Pfeffer Anton, Executive Vice President of Luxury Portfolio International®, shared highlights from the annual 2015 Luxury Portfolio Summit, insights on today’s luxury consumer, and upcoming plans for 2015. Luxury is back! Over the last few years, brands such as Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs have seen incredible increases in annual sales. Overall, the economy has recovered from the recession and in particular, the luxury housing market has taken off. This is accredited to trade-up buyers, low rates on jumbo mortgages, the strength of global buyers, an increase in luxury homebuilders and income growth among the top 1%. We’ve seen a steady increase in international and millennial luxury home buyers. Luxury Portfolio International’s invitation-only network spans across more than 50 countries and is comprised of the top luxury experts across the globe. Our partnership with Luxury Portfolio International allows us access to their global network and provides international exposure for our luxury listings. Luxury Portfolio International will be involved in several global events throughout the remainder of 2015.
