T

he exclusive communities in West Bellevue are highly prized by both local and foreign buyers, and demand consistently outstrips supply. Inventory continues to be at low levels. Home prices in West Bellevue remain very strong, however, there are signs that prices may be rising more slowly than they did in the first half of the year.

• Homes continue to sell quickly with more than half the homes sold in the third quarter selling in three weeks or less. • While still low, inventory has increased to just over a two month supply of homes. Three to six months of supply is considered to be balanced. • For the year ended September 30, 2016, the median price for homes sold in West Bellevue was $1,825,000. That represents a 7 percent increase over the previous 12 month period. The most expensive home sold in the third quarter of 2016 was a $7.0 million waterfront estate on Hunts Point.
