Frenzied Market Frustrating Buyers Northwest MLS figures show prices on last month's closed sales of single family homes and condos jumped more than 6.7 percent compared to the same month a year ago. The median price on last month's closed sales area-wide was $292,500 which compares to the year ago figure of $274,000. ...Escalating prices may ease later in the year, when interest rates edge up as the Fed stops buying mortgage-backed securities. First Quarter 2015 Residential Homes In March of 2015, 939 homes were placed under contract. That number is up 31.5% from last year. 

The For Sale numbers are the snapshot of the number of properties for sale at the end of the month. The Pended numbers represent the number of properties that went into the "pending" status in that month. The Sold numbers represent the number of properties that are sold in a particular month.

Condominium We finished 2015 Q1 strong with 313 units being placed under contract in March. That’s up 4.3% from last year.
