Jess Phoenix is a designer and illustrator based in Seattle. She studied illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design, and has worked as a product designer for 20 years. Her love of color and pattern eventually led her to explore the world of surface design, where she began using her signature bright florals to create beautiful and bold patterns. Most of the flowers and leaves in her floral designs are imagined and act as a vehicle for her to create vibrant color relationships. Her work has been featured on products and projects for clients such as Haagen Dazs, Urban Outfitters, Biolage, Sephora, and many others. When not creating art, she’s probably petting a cat or hanging out with her silly husband.
DAYSPRING
Intricate vines weave through the lush and vibrant florals in this collection by Jess Phoenix. Dayspring is a painterly fabric collection that celebrates nature’s vibrant beauty in full bloom. With rich jewel tones of deep midnight, magenta, olive green, and bright blue, this collection bursts with color. Perfect for creating striking quilts or adding a touch of elegance to home décor, Dayspring offers a bold, yet timeless palette that brings the essence of a flourishing garden into any project.

I recently spent a magical morning, camera in hand, at the newly reimagined Montreal Insectarium, exploring (and marvelling at) the thousands of beautiful insects displayed in colour order and wandering through a glass-ceilinged space with lush gardens where butterflies fly freely all around. Art supplies were pulled out as soon as I got home...
Wanting to continue the nature-inspired colour story in all its nuances and richness resulted in Watermark.
The subtle pattern recalls soft markings on a moth’s wings and echoes the gentle shifts in intensity found in plant-dyed fabric. It is the fabric equivalent of a beloved watercolour paint set, just waiting to add depth and a joyful range of hues to your next project. ~ Tamara
Both printed on super-soft High Density Cotton, and also Oeko-Tex Certified, Insectarium features 24 joyful prints and one panel, while Watermark is a collection of 30 glorious colours. Back your projects with the coordinating Designer 108” Wideback.

LUSH LIFE
“The Lush Life collection was inspired by the big, bohemian florals of the early 70’s. The stylized poppies and flowering branches are reminiscent of prints that were in my house when I was growing up, a mix of classic themes with a bit of folk, and a bit of groove. The motifs are all hand-painted to give the collection a natural, imperfect feel. The collection includes several large and lush florals supported by smaller accent prints, and each of the colorways blends well with a number of the semi-solids from the Moonlit collection. All of the fabrics in this collection are GOTS-Certified Organic and Oeko-Tex Certified.” ~Jennifer

Jennifer has been in the art and design business for over 20 years. She simply can’t remember a time when she wasn’t creating. Being fortunate enough to grow up surrounded by other creatives, Jennifer was encouraged to focus on and grow her passion. She never knows exactly how a creation will end up, but that’s the authentic and beautiful surprise of it all. Some of Jennifer’s favorite mediums are: Watercolor, acrylic, marker, pen-and-ink, graphite and colored pencil. She also adores Photoshop and collage work. Jennifer’s goal and purpose is to pass on the joy, comfort, inspiration and positive thoughts she puts into each unique design she creates.
SHINE ON
“Never forget how wildly capable you are when creating straight from the heart. Happy colored birds, butterflies, dragonflies and wildflowers dance whimsically with quotes sure to inspire and uplift. Richly complex, yet fancifully fun, this collection brings all the good feels and positive vibes! And remember, you’re always the most beautiful being yourself. Shine on!” ~Jennifer

Jacqueline de Jonge BeColour ful by
Hello! I’m Jacqueline de Jonge, a self-taught quilter and batik designer.
My passion for quilting began the moment I saw my first quilt, and ever since, I’ve been dedicated to creating patterns and designs that inspire quilters around the world through my batiks and BeColourful creations.
In 2015, I began working exclusively with Anthology Fabrics, and it’s been a joy to share my enthusiasm with makers of all levels. I love helping people discover their artistic talents and showing them that what may seem challenging at first can actually be much easier than it looks.
Doing what you love is truly a miracle, and I’m grateful to be part of such a creative and inspiring community. ~ JDJ

Sally has reimagined batiks in a monotone palette. The softness of the line and texture created with the batik technique gives a fresh take on Sally’s designs and they work beautifully together to create a warm and comforting, more restful, tactile collection. The hues and simple designs are perfect for embellishment with embroidery which will stand out against the earthly tones. The collection is designed to work all together in a beautiful walk across the colour palette or be combined with Sally’s other more highly detailed works.
