Kall Kwik Serves An Ace With New

Aluminium Partnership

Kall Kwik is ‘ACE-ing’ aluminium machinery needs thanks to a brand-new partnership with leading machinery supplier FOM.

The FOM range features a huge selection of aluminium machinery, including cutting and machining lines, double and single head saws, corner crimpers and more.

“As the aluminium market continues to grow, we wanted to expand our ACE care package to fabricators who manufacture aluminium windows and doors, and FOM is the ideal machinery partner to help us deliver this,” says Chris Bailey, business development manager at Kall Kwik.

“FOM is an established machinery brand with a wide product range, and this gives us access to a whole new market, as well as increasing our offering to existing customers.

“Traditionally, it’s been the case that fabricators either manufactured aluminium or PVCu products, but now, so many manufacturers are offering both.

“The new partnership with FOM means that fabricators have access to both aluminium and PVCu machinery from Kall Kwik, meaning they can get all their machinery needs from one trusted supplier.”

Launched in 2021, Kall Kwik’s ACE support package provides Advice, Care and Engineering to customers, to help fabricators find the best solutions for their machinery needs.

Chris adds: “Our level of industry experience means we have always provided expert aftercare and engineering for window machinery and now we can expand this service to the aluminium market and support a greater range of customers, even those with existing FOM machinery.” www.kallkwik.uk.com

A Big Step Up For Ramsay Ladders

It might have taken twenty years, but Ramsay & Sons (Forfar) Ltd has finally taken delivery of its second Emmegi CNC machine.

The delay wasn’t because the Angus-based aluminium ladder specialist wasn’t happy with the Emmegi Index machine purchased in 2001, but rather that the original machine had worked so well that it had never needed to be replaced.

However, as Ramsay Ladders is now looking to increase volumes in both the trade and DIY market, it has invested in a new Emmegi Comet X6 four-axis model to take it on the next step of its journey. The Comet X6 will open other production developments within Ramsay’s bespoke product range and produce standard ladder components more efficiently.

Gordon Lowson, a director of Ramsay & Sons, says the Emmegi Index has been a reliable workforce for almost two decades, but that the whole team is now energised and excited by the capability and features of the new Comet X6.

He explained: “The Comet X6 is even quicker and quieter than we expected. It can

machine two pieces of ladder section in two independent work areas, which will really improve our output and efficiency and guarantee us a relatively fast payback.” www.emmegi.com
