How To Fix DNS_Probe_Finished_Bad_Config in Windows 10 

Step 1. Open CMD as an administrator by pressing Windows Key + X and select Command Prompt (Admin).

Step 2. When Command Prompt opens, type below command and press Enter one by one.

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /all ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renew netsh int ip set dns

netsh winsock reset

Step 3. Wait until all commands executed successfully, then restart your PC.


Method 2: Change Google’s Public DNS 

Step 1: Press Windows Key + X and select Network Connections. Here, you select your Ethernet Connection or Local Area Connection and right click it and select Properties.

Step 2. From the connection property sheet, you select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) once so that it becomes highlighted in grey and then click Properties.

Step 3. Next, you put check on Use The Following DNS Server Addresses and type the following for Alternate DNS Server and Preferred DNS Server.

Preferred DNS SERVER: 8.8.8.8 Alternate DNS SERVER: 8.8.4.4
