NIAGARA ICEWINE SHINES AT 24th ANNUAL FESTIVAL November 30, 2018 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (St. Catharines, ON) – The 24th Annual Niagara Icewine Festival will celebrate Canada’s incredible Icewine harvest with three weeks of events across Niagara from January 11th – January 27th.

The Niagara Icewine Festival kicks off on January 11th with the opulent Northern Lights Icewine Gala at the Fallsview Casino where the Grand Hall will be transformed into a Canadian landscape using masterfully crafted ice sculptures, colourful lighting displays, and extraordinary installations. Guests are invited to enjoy awardwinning VQA wines from over 35 Niagara wineries while enjoying perfectly paired dishes curated to highlight Canadian cuisine from coast to coast. Live entertainment encourages guests to dance the night away at this extravagant evening, and a Canadian-themed silent auction showcases local wineries and businesses.

The Niagara Icewine Festival Discovery Pass allows the fun to continue on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from January 11th to January 29th at 40 Niagara wineries. Discovery Pass holders are invited to experience 8 food and wine pairings for $45, or $35 for a Designated Driver Discovery Pass. Over three weekends, Niagara wineries work with local chefs to create a food and wine pairing that highlights the Icewine harvest in Canada.

With options from Icy hot chicken wings paired with Vidal Icewine to spiced pear upside down cake paired with an award-winning Riesling Icewine, these unique tasting experiences are sure to delight pass holders.
