All Saints Estate is wonderfully imposing as you drive past the elegant gates down the avenue of huge elms, and turn into the superbly tended garden in front of the old 1864 heritage-listed castle at the heart of the vineyards.
All Saints Estate is a family owned winery established in 1864 and located on the banks of the Murray River in Wahgunyah, North East Victoria.
Original owners George Sutherland Smith, and John Banks, arrived from Caithness, Scotland in 1852 and built the castle by hand. Today the Brown siblings, Eliza, Angela and Nick, own the Estate and make hand crafted wines with a modern attitude.

Howard and Christobelle are unashamed perfectionists and take a no compromise approach to everything from the vineyard, to winemaking, to customer service.
ANDERSON WINERY
Howard Anderson established Anderson Winery in 1993, after 30 years experience in the industry – including 15 years as winemaker at Seppelt Great Western.
In 2005 he was joined by his daughter Christobelle, who had completed a winemaking degree in Adelaide, and worked for several wineries in France.
Howard and Christobelle are unashamed perfectionists and take a no compromise approach to everything from the vineyard, to winemaking, to customer service. All wines are made on site, entirely by Howard and Christobelle. Their eight hectare vineyard is planted on Rutherglen’s traditional Buckshot clay soil, and is non-irrigated which ensures a low yield of intensely flavoured grapes.
Traditional, labour intensive methods including hand harvesting, basket pressing and minimal additives are used alongside modern knowledge to ensure maximum wine quality. They specialise in full bodied reds (particularly Durif and Petit verdot) with inky colour, rich mouth filling fruit, and smooth tannins.
Their other specialty is traditionally made white and red sparkling wines. Like the great vintage wines of Champagne, they cellar all their sparklings on yeast lees in the bottle for several years before disgorgement (removal of the yeast), which gives them an extra dimension of complexity, and a lovely smooth, creamy texture.

CHAMBERS ROSEWOOD
Honest wines with a sense of place. First established by William Chambers in 1858, the Chambers family has been making wine at Rosewood for over six generations.
While the legendary Bill Chambers is often to be found at the cellar door over the weekends, it is his son Stephen, who heads up the wine making team after taking up the operation in 2001.
Stephen has already established an enviable reputation for himself by continuing the tradition of producing highly prized fortified wines such as the Muscat and Muscadelle. Famed wine writer Robert Parker Jr described them as ‘some of the world’s most remarkable dessert wines’.
The first thing you notice on arriving is the impressive array of bottles on the tasting bar, with more than 30 different wines, including Muscadelle, Muscat, Shiraz and Mondeuse and Roussanne. Look out for a particularly interesting and rare variety called Gouais, a parent plant of Chardonnay, Riesling and as more recently discovered, up to 80 different varieties.
Rosewood’s gnarled old lowyielding vines, many of which are more than 100 years old, yield fruit brimming with highly concentrated flavours for their world renowned wine styles.

Cofield Wines is a boutique, family owned and operated winery located in the heart of the Rutherglen wine region.
The Cofield family are a family of workers, who have been treading the vineyards of Rutherglen for over 100 years.
The history starts with Frank Cofield when he started working at St Leonard’s vineyard in 1909. His grandson, Max Cofield spent his school holidays working there chipping weeds, before getting an ‘inside job’ working at Seppelts and later at All Saints winery.
Max had always had the desire, and in 1990 decided it was time to set up on his own, and open Cofield Wines.
He obviously made the wine industry look enticing, because his son Damien followed his footsteps and took over the winery in 2007.
Damien has a renewed focus to continually develop the wines and increase the love of Cofield Wines all over Australia and the world.
Specialising in sparkling wines made using the Method Traditionelle process, Cofield Wines also offer a wide variety of regional white wines, Rutherglen reds and sweet and fortified wines.

If you love a small winery which has loads of history then John Gehrig Wines is for you.
John Gehrig Wines. Quality wine makers since 1860.
John a fourth generation winemaker, established the vineyard & winery on the banks of the King River, Oxley in 1976; only minutes from the Milawa Gourmet Region. John’s son Ross has taken on the challenge of guiding the next winemaking generation of Gehrigs to craft fine wines. Ross has an obsession with producing the best grapes to produce wines of distinction that will pay homage to this iconic Northeast Victorian winery.
In 2011, the allure of returning back into John’s original birthplace –Rutherglen- was too strong, thus Ross with wife Meghan, have expanded to a new vineyard and cellardoor site in Gooramadda (east Rutherglen)
This Rutherglen vineyard site has an historic winery shed transformed into a cellar door perfect for that rustic relax reception or function.
Situated on the site is the old Gooramadda school site which makes a nice secluded personal area for ceremonies, beyond that is the front dam which also makes a lovely spot for a lawn ceremony and a glass of sparkling!
And of course there is plenty of vineyard for that picture perfect moment in the background.

Our commercial Riesling has always been a good thing; with a trace of residual sweetness that balances out the acid levels of the Riesling variety.
A white wine that is full flavoured fresh and crisp and shows lime and citrus fruit aromatics. This wine showcases the varietal characters of the King Valley. John Gehrig’s heritage lends to extensive experience in producing this classic German varietal, with known results.

On Jones Road, Jones Winery Rutherglen continue family traditions of grape growing, winemaking and cooking have been kept alive for six generations.
Today, Arthur, Mandy & Benjamin Jones of Jones Wines Rutherglen cultivate specialties of Durif, Shiraz and Muscat, as well as inspired plantings of Fiano and Marsanne, among others.
Vines have been nurtured here since 1860. They have the oldest producing vineyards of Shiraz, Grenache and Ugni Blanc in Rutherglen, planted in 1905. The property is also home to Murray Grey cattle, bred for the table. Mandy’s winemaking expertise is informed by 14 years’ experience in the Cotes de Bordeaux region at Chateau Carsin and a student at Le Cordon Bleu. Six generation Winemaker, Benjamin Jones has recently joined his father and auntie, after completing his studies in oenology at Adelaide University, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the winemaking.
Their hatted winery restaurant is headed by young chef Briony Bradford, who is passionate about classic French cooking techniques. In Rutherglen Briony and her team have access to a wealth of local ingredients, and collaborative relationship with the farmers who produce them.
Visitors are invited to taste at the heritage cellar door, dine, take a picnic in the grounds or browse the garden sculpture gallery. For a longer foray into Rutherglen’s food and wine culture, stay in the Jones Tiny House, overlooking the vineyard.

Scion is a progressive Rutherglen winery offering a thoroughly modern spin on the region’s traditional grape varietals. Expect Durif redesigned and Muscat reimagined.
Established in 2002 from the ground up, Scion was inspired by Winemaker Rowly Milhinch’s great-great-great grandfather George Francis Morris, a pioneering Australian vigneron.

In small batches, we handcraft wines that represent modern Rutherglen. We hope you enjoy drinking them as much as we enjoy making them.

ST LEONARDS
Established in 1860, St Leonards Vineyard is a hideaway for wine and food lovers, on a picturesque bend of the Murray River.
St Leonards pioneered the term ‘boutique’ in the Australian wine industry with 90% of the wines sold through cellar door and by mail order; the marketing of St. Leonards at that time is not unlike the business strategy of today, enabling us to relate to ourcustomers on a more personal level.
ST LEONARDS VINEYARD NV SPARKLING BRUT
Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This wine is a lovely modern fine brut style of sparkling wine.
ST LEONARDS VINEYARD 2021 ROSÉ
The 2021 Rosé was made from Shiraz, which adds juicy fruit and is lovely on the palate of this dry aromatic Rosé style
ST LEONARDS VINEYARD 2022 CABERNET FRANC
Our Cellar Door offers a unique range of wines including the exceptional St Leonards Vineyard Wahgunyah Shiraz and highly rated St Leonards Vineyard Cabernet Franc.
St Leonards Vineyard has an atmospheric Cellar Door and the St Leonards Vineyard Kitchen. It is also home to a historical museum of old oak casks and open fermenters.
A hidden gem in the Rutherglen Wine Region, St Leonards Vineyard is a world away with a relaxed ambience and proximity to nature with majestic 100 year old gum trees and adjacent to a natural lagoon in the Murray River that is home to diverse wildlife and flora.
St Leonards Vineyard also hosts regular live music artists at Music on the Murray, taking place on the first Saturday of every month. The Kitchen is open for lunch on weekends, November through April.

This mid-weighted Cabernet Franc is a juicy, aromatic, delight. It has a vibrant ruby colour and an incredibly pronounced and complex aroma profile: red fruits, spices, plus herbs.

STANTON & KILLEEN
Seven generations of history
At Stanton & Killeen, we blend innovation with tradition, celebrating seven generations and 150 years of family winemaking.
Today, the business is owned and managed by mother-daughter team Wendy and Natasha Killeen. The winery is best known for alternative Portuguese varieties, flavoursome Rutherglen red wine and continuing Stanton & Killeen’s long custodianship of awardwinning Muscats, Topaques and Vintage Fortifieds.
We love alternative varieties
Originally planted by Christopher Killeen thirty years ago to achieve his vision for crafting Australia’s best Vintage Fortified, our diverse range of Portuguese varieties are flourishing on our site.
Since Christopher’s untimely passing in 2007, we have explored ways to produce distinctive sparkling and table wines from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Souzão and Tinto Cão. Adding to the original five red varieties, we have since planted three white grapes to our evolving portfolio. A changing climate, curious consumers and our love of experimentation has ensured S&K as an innovative rising star in the Australian wine scene.
Sustainably certified
In 2022, the business successfully passed a rigorous audit for both the vineyard and winery, becoming officially Freshcare certified through Sustainable Winegrowing Australia.

Warrabilla Wines is the home of opulent red wines in North East Victoria.
WARRABILLA
Six generations and more than 150 years of family winemaking in Rutherglen.
While the Sutherland Smith story in Rutherglen commenced in 1864, a new chapter began in 1991 when Andrew Sutherland Smith and wife Carol established Warrabilla Wines.
Andrew Sutherland Smith made the first Warrabilla vintage in 1991 with a determined focus to produce red wines of strucure which exhibit strong regionality. Throughout the years, the reputation for producing textural bold reds has grown, while the commitment to quality and the unapologetic approach to flavor remains.
In the early days Andrew spent much time sourcing the best parcels of fruit across north east Victoria. With the success of each vinatge, the business grew and Andrew began acquiring lands with the sole focus to plant his own vineyards. These plantings have become distinguished sites, each with a distinct signature producing uniquely regional styles.
Having worked extensively throughout the Australian wine industry, Andrew honed his craft at such notable establishments as Yellowglen, Mildara, Stanley and McWilliams. In 2012, he was joined by daughter, Amy Sutherland Smith upon her return from Charles Sturt University. The pair complement one another with Andrew playing the role of mentor and Amy bringing drive and enthusiasm, spurring her father along to yet greater heights. Andrew’s willingness to harness new technologies and reinvest in his business is evident in the strength of these impressive wines.

WARRABILLA 2021 PAROLA’S SHIRAZ
An amazing depth of dark berry fruits on the nose. Scented raspberry, bloodplum and dark cherry, with a dusting of cocoa, allspice and oak derived vanilla.
The palate is remarkably poised, belying the weight of the wine. 100% new American oak has enveloped the ripe dark fruits, and ropes of grainy tannins hold the show together, with flickers of new leather, anise and black olive adding savoury interest.
WARRABILLA 2023 SMALL BATCH GRENACHE ROSE
A delicious, dry modern Rosé showing lifted strawberry and cherry fruit on the nose, attractive spicy texture through the mid palate and crisp, clean acidity through the finish.
DURIF
A full spectrum of blue and black fruits on the nose, ripe and primary with spicy blueberry and blackberry characters to the fore.
The rich fruits meld beautifully with creamy vanilla oak characters on the mid palate, with a blanket of fine but firm tannins in the background. Flickers of earth and ironstone underpin the flamboyant fruits, making for a complex overall package.
Our Small Batch wines are crafted in tiny volumes to showcase a lighter side of Warrabilla. Contemporary wine styles made to highlight our unique vineyard sites and soils. www.warrabillawines.com.au
