Executive Director East Side House Settlement

Daniel Diaz

After the last two turbulent years, all of us at East Side House are thrilled to enter a new era of growth and opportunity.

Thanks to your steadfast support, we have continued to serve our communities while also expanding our programs to reach those most in need. From the exciting development of our new commercial kitchen to the expansion of our Post-Secondary Pathways Program, the energy within our community is more electric than ever. We have also added a fifth Early Childhood Center location to support students with special needs—which you can read about on page 192.

We could not have weathered the peak of the pandemic without the hard work of our dedicated staff and Board, incredible volunteers, and, of course, generous donors. When The Winter Show was rescheduled for spring last year due to COVID-19, we were touched by your commitment to following us to the iconic Barneys building on Madison Avenue.

I would like to give a special thank you to Bank of America for their investment in our work as their 2022 Neighborhood Builder. Bank of America is a true model of partnership, collaborating with us to build East Side House’s capacity, invest in our staff, and show care and respect for our community.

I am excited to welcome The Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) to this year’s Fair. As a fellow Bank of America Neighborhood Builder, MOCA will be showcasing works that illustrate the experience of Chinese Americans across our country and city. We are delighted to collaborate with the Museum through our partnership with Bank of America and look forward to shedding light on their important mission.

Now, as we return to the Park Avenue Armory for the sixty-ninth edition of The Winter Show, I am so grateful to be a part of this network of caring individuals and partners and cannot wait to see where this next chapter leads us.

To a bright future,

Daniel Diaz Executive Director

His work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Town & Country, Vogue, T Magazine, The World of Interiors, Veranda, W, New York Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, among others. Bunny Williams

Considered one of the most talented names in design, Bunny Williams is an accomplished businesswoman, entrepreneur, author, and philanthropist. She launched her eponymous firm in 1988, following a 22-year apprenticeship with the esteemed Parish-Hadley Associates. Since then, Bunny Williams Interior Design has wrought its own indelible imprint and legacy. In addition to projects across the United States and abroad— many for repeat clients—Williams’ own houses and her long career have provided ample material and inspiration for seven books to date. She is also a sought-after speaker and mentor on design, decoration, gardening, and entertaining. A member of Architectural Digest’s “AD100 Hall of Fame”, Williams and her firm have won numerous awards and appeared on several best-of lists, including Elle Décor’s A-List and Luxe’s Gold List. Beyond her thriving interior design business, Williams is the visionary behind the Bunny Williams Home line of furnishings, lighting, art, and accessories, and the founder of a line of products in collaboration with Ballard Designs. She splits her time between Manhattan and her beloved country house in Connecticut, where she lives with her husband, the antiques dealer John Rosselli, and their two dogs.
