Alamo Rose Quilt-A-Bees will host its annual quilt show from 1 to 3 p.m. at 938 Alamo Road. Admission is $2. There will be 27 quilts of valor to Alamo Rose Veterans on display. The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce (ECC) and Bert Ogden and Fiesta Dealerships recently announced the return of the 53rd Annual Fiesta Edinburg. The festival will be held at H-E-B Park located at 1616 S. Raul Longoria Rd. in Edinburg. The festival will run February 24-27 and is expected to draw thousands of spectators to the city of Edinburg. SPI Market Days will be held at the South Padre Island Convention Center. Doors will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The market will feature fine art, handcrafted jewelry, clothing, arts and crafts, gourmet food mixes, product demos, pet items, live music and more. There will also be door prizes. The dance hall meets the concert hall as the Valley Symphony Orchestra (VSO) announces the next concert in its 70th anniversary season with “Dances of the Americas,” a musical celebration of dance rhythms from across the U.S. and Latin America. The concert will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 25 at the McAllen Performing Arts Center. Tickets are on sale now for this concert and all VSO spring events.
