HOP FOR JOY AT THE POUND ARTS

This Easter, The Pound Arts Centre in Corsham is hosting a wide range of events that will have Easter Bunnies of all ages and sizes hopping with joy.

Cinema lovers can catch Will Smith’s BAFTA winning performance in King Richard and Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of West Side Story, while younger viewers can look forward to Encanto and Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

There’s a double helping of fun family theatre! Sing, learn and play in Musical Storytime with theatre maker Iona Johnson, or delve into not one but two fantastical nursery rhymes with The Three Billy Pigs.

One of the brightest comedic talents around, Catherine Bohart, will deliver a blisteringly funny new stand-up show, This Isn’t For You, filled with horrendous life advice, cheery nihilism and reluctant self-discovery.

Enter the bewitching world of classically trained folk singer Amy Duncan as she serenades audiences with songs of childhood, dreams of escape, days drifting by and nights at home dancing with loved ones.

Escape to the West End with a National Theatre Live screening of Henry V, starring Kit Harrington, broadcast live from the Donmar Warehouse.

Finally, there’s a whole bunch of crafty workshops, including making Easter Pom Pom Bunnies and even drawing real life chickens!
