THE WISCONSIN MBA CORPORATE FINANCE AND INVESTMENT BANKING
WHY THE NICHOLAS CENTER MBA? in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking
Nestled between two picturesque lakes, Madison is the state capital of Wisconsin and a vibrant community with a city atmosphere and small town character. Merging the best of both worlds, it is not a surprise that Madison has been rated one of the best cities for young professionals. Positioned in the heart of campus is Grainger Hall—the home of the Wisconsin MBA and the only truly applied corporate finance MBA program in the nation, the Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. Our specialized program gives students the edge they need to succeed: the ability to face any challenge and deliver value to their organization from day one on the job. Our curriculum is a balance of advanced finance skills, business management and ever-critical leadership development.

RETURN ON INVESTMENT With a deep understanding of financial methods and techniques, graduates hit the ground running in their respective organizations. Top employers recruit our students, which has resulted in 100% internship placement in recent years and a $110,000 Class of 2013 median salary (excluding bonuses). Graduates go to work for companies such as Starbucks, P&G, 3M, JP Morgan, Accenture, RW Baird, Amazon, and HP. In addition, they have earned degrees from a world-class university while paying the second-lowest tuition among the nation’s top business schools. Needless to say, Nicholas Center graduates get a serious return on their investment.
“Attending the Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking was one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve made. It provided me with the opportunity to enhance my financial skills and business acumen in order to achieve my career goals while also creating life long memories.” —Linsey Lauritzen, Class of 2011
