Core cohort experience
Be part of a curated team of individuals from diverse professional backgrounds. Learn and work together as you take foundational business and leadership courses.
YEAR TWO AND BEYOND Customize your MBA
Take between one and four additional years to complete your degree. Select three-month-long units of coursework and earn badges in business disciplines important to you and your career growth.
A total of four badges are required to complete the program. Each badge consists of three courses.

New badges may launch each year giving students opportunities to earn different badge credentials in the coming years. Additional fees will apply for the Global Business badge.
FUNCTIONAL COREAdmissions and tuition
Tuition for the Professional MBA is by the credit hour. Each credit hour is $1,700 plus UW segregated fees. Segregated fees are estimated to cost $140 per credit.
Standardized tests are an optional part of your application. We accept the GMAT, GRE, and Executive Assessment.

Accelerated options
Qualifying UW–Madison alumni are eligible to waive credits of MBA curriculum requirements in the functional core and elective badges. Waving these requirements may reduce the overall amount of time and money needed to complete your MBA.
