Pre- Tournament
Registration and Team Resume- The State Champs allows the coaches to breakdown the Tiers and Seed their tournament. The resume is an online form to allow all State Champs coaches to submit their season performance information. The WSS Staff compiles all the information submitted and distributes the info to all coaches during the Tier Selection (if applicable) and Seeding process.
Tier Selection- WSS uses a tier selection method to separate teams into equal fields of competition. The head coach of each team will be asked to complete a Tier Selection survey which includes the team resume information for the selective teams. The results will determine what tier each team is in.
Seeding Process- Once the tiers are selected the head coach will be sent the seeding survey complete with the team resume for the selective teams. The results will determine the final tournament seeding for each team.
Post- Tournament
All Tournament Teams- Each team will be allowed to nominate one player from their team to be selected for All Tournament honors. The Champion and Runner Up teams in each division will be allowed to nominate two players. Each head coach will be contacted by WSS to submit their nominations following the completion of the tournament.
