What is Essential Rewards? Essential Rewards (ER) is Young Living's customer loyalty program with monthly autoshipments. If you're not yet enrolled in ER then please don't let the "monthly autoshipment" term scare you. You have complete control of what you receive each month and how much you spend. Here are a few highlights about the program: Total Control. Member can mix and match their order every month. Member can switch their order date to any day on the available calendar. Member can enroll in Essential Rewards at any time, but why wait? Member can opt out at any time. Member earns points that can be redeemed for free products. Reward points percentage grows (10%, 15%, 20%) Only requires 50pv per month to stay in the program.

Now that you've learned a little more about YL's other product lines and you're well familiar with the oils that were included in your Premium Starter Kit, but what else is there? For every new, natural product you use you're replacing chemical-laden items that *used to* be your goto. No more! Love life with healthier living.
Let's talk savings! The longer that you remain an Essential Rewards member, the more savings you earn. For your first six months of consecutive orders you will receive 10% back in reward points. So, for every $100 in product that you place on your ER order for the month you will receive $10 to shop with for free products of your choice. For months 7-12 you earn 15% back and anything after your first year will earn you 20% back in rewards!
You'll notice in the infographic on the previous page that "50PV worth of products..." is mentioned. First, what is "PV"? PV stands for Point Value. Young Living assigns a Point Value to all products except business building materials like pamphlets and brochures. Almost every product is equal PV per dollar. If you have a product guide near you, open it up. You'll notice a wholesale price, retail price and PV listed next to each item. The PV is usually an equal number to the wholesale price. There are very few exceptions and those are for special promotional items that are priced at a discount above wholesale discount or on items that are very hard to come by in the natural. So, with the ER program you want to ensure that your cart has a minimum PV each month. PV, not dollar amount. Your virtual office has a wonderful feature called "PV Assistant". Make sure this box is checked so that you receive an e-mail in the event that your PV is below the needed 50PV for the month. A very handy, helpful feature!
Points! Points! Points! You can redeem your Essential Rewards points via phone, live chat or online in the virtual office. If you are new to Essential Rewards, you must complete two consecutive months of ordering before you are able to redeem reward points. Young Living has a 30-day return policy so this 2-month hold is to ensure that points aren't being accrued and then product returned. YL works very hard to bring us the very best that nature has to offer so of course they shouldn't be giving away the farm(s) for free! After your first two months you can redeem points anytime as many times per month as you want, but a maximum of 300pv can be redeemed each month.
Monthly Promotions Each month, Young Living will offer products that you will receive for FREE with qualifying orders. These products are *in addition to* the reward points that you earn with your ER order each month. Yep. I know what you're thinking. MORE free stuff?! Is Young Living crazy??? No, they just love us as much as we love their products!! Whether you choose to stay a wholesale member or decide to be a business builder, Essential Rewards is THE VERY BEST decision you can make for yourself. You have to buy toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, shampoo, vitamins, beauty care, etc at the store each month but what do you get in return? Do those products contain harmful chemicals? Probably. Do you get reward points to shop for free products? Probably not. Will your grocery store deliver to your home? Not in this century. Save yourself time and money all while providing safer, healthier options for your family with Young Living products via Essential Rewards.
Every month when you order, you'll receive reward points. If you order 190PV or more, however, you'll automatically receive that month's free promotions with your Essential Rewards order. Do not add these items to your cart. Young Living will ship them automatically with qualifying orders. The promos are different every month, but the PV requirements are the same: 190pv, 250pv and 300pv. In addition to the reward points you'll already earn with this order (eg. 30 points for a 300pv order in your first six months of the ER program), you'll also receive about $100 in free products and rebates for that 300pv order. Be sure to read each monthly promotion carefully so you can choose what best fits your needs. A real life example: My husband and I have been on Essential Rewards for over 1 year so we earn reward points at the 20% level. With the February 2015 promo we would earn the following with a 300PV Essential Rewards order: - 60pv standard points (that’s 20% of 300pv) - 5ml Thyme essential oil - 5ml Taste of Italy essential oil - 30pv additional points (Feb. 2015 special) - Lavender body lotion

Here’s how it works: Bonus #1—Earn bonus Essential Rewards points each month, based on the number of O.I.L. products you have in your Essential Rewards order that month. Bonus #2—Earn an additional bonus on your entire Essential Rewards order the longer you keep at least two O.I.L. products in your order. Any combination of two or more O.I.L. products qualifies, as long as the items have a combined minimum of 40 PV. After three consecutive months of having two or more O.I.L. products in your Essential Rewards order, you will earn a 3percent bonus on the sum of your Essential Rewards points for that month’s order. After six consecutive months, you earn a 6-percent bonus, and after nine consecutive months, you earn a 9percent bonus!
