India’s Reaction On Single-Use Plastic Ban By 2022
Plastic will not be ban abruptly, it will happen eventually by 2022

Discussions on completely banning plastic are ongoing and it shall happen by 2022 as it can affect the livelihood of several people who are into manufacturing plastic.
He quoted “We have to build an Andolan (movement) to induce behavioral change which was at the heart of Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy”
On October 2, 2019, in Ahemdabad at the Sabarmati riverfront, PM Narendra Modi announced the cancellation of no ban plastic by 2022 and stated that all the plastic won’t get ban at once.
Steps Taken On Single-Use Plastic Bans
He had mentioned about banning the singleuse plastic in his speech on Independence Day and spoke about implementing it in October. His motto behind saying it was to take care of the welfare of society and

Government issued a notification of banning every means of plastic such as carry bags, polyethylene terephthalate drinking bottles of
less than 200 ml capacity, single disposable cutleries such as plates, dishes, spoons, cups, glasses, forks, bowls, pouches for selling liquid products except for milk and decorative materials like flowers to be banned, right from manufacturing to distribution, no plastic to be distributed.
2. A limit of just 50 microns plastic sheet was allowed for storing or transporting products.
3. There was an exemption on the usage of Polythene for materials such as plant nurseries, medicines, blood transfusion bags, and other healthcare sector items.
4. Single-use plastics were banned in Goa and Andhra Pradesh as well.
5. 55 Airports in India are single-use plastics free since then.

Problems Encountered In August, when Modi had discussed banning plastic, the industry feared a dip in their sales. Concerns were raised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on the banes of banning plastic in the industry.
They mentioned that there would be a spike in the FMCG products and manufacturers would resort to alternative packing. This would have had a bad impact on the consumers as well. People would lose their jobs as well as there would be losses in the food processing industries as well Having said, their idea is to be aware before taking a drastic step of totally banning plastic now, there are chances that it will happen by 2022

Increase In Low-Skilled Jobs In May-August CMIE Survey Studies As per the survey conducted by CMIE, CEO Mahesh Vyas says, that it is a good sign that the rate of employment has gone up with 2.5 million people more when compared to last year. In India, around 404.9 people were employed in the month of May-August. Comparing the data of employment from 2016 until now, it has been better this year.

> May-August 2017 - 0.6 million lower than 2016 Every four months the Consumer Pyramids Household Survey is conducted and it estimates an increase in employment in this time period. The CEO doesn’t find it to be a piece of totally good news because the jobs in the sectors where employment should be sufficient, people are losing their jobs there. There is an increase in employment in the agricultural sector with a decrease in the number of jobs in the manufacturing and IT sectors. In total there was an increase of 7 million jobs in the agricultural sector.

Rajasthani Painting The Rajasthani paintings found their inspiration from the Rajput culture in India. All the paintings are vibrant and unique in a way portraying themes and events of the Ramayana. WWW.WISHESH.NET | NOVEMBER 2019

Goan Food Culture Something that makes Goa special and unique is it’s climate. The climate also shows it’s influence on food. The spices and flavours go with climate of Goa. Rice and Goan fish curry is staple food of Goa. Along with fish curry, Goa is represented for best seafood. The spice added to seafood brings the delicious taste that makes people all around India love Goa food. 20

No 5 - Lord Krishna Killed Narkasur On Naraka Chaturdasi, Lord Krishna killed Narkasura and put an end to the evil. This is believed in Tamil Nadu and Diwali is celebrated a day before the actual date.
Story On Naraka Chaturdashi, Lord Krishna freed 16,000 women from the prisonment of Narkasura and killed him. On this day, evil was killed and the happiness of freedom was celebrated by lighting diyas.
Sweets are made and exchanged, people meet and greet and everyone does Lakshmi puja at their home and workplace. People start to clean their home and workplace 10 days before Diwali and on Diwali day all are decked up in new clothes.
Food Cooked On Diwali On Diwali day, in most parts of North India people cook food that is green in color like palak paneer, green raitha, and methi paratha. Everyone hogs on sweets and other hot dishes.

They enjoyed the entire day, Charles heard stories from his Grandparents and they all enjoyed the dinner together and fell asleep feeling lazy.
His mom said “No cooking for me” His dad said” No work for me” His Grandma smiled and said “ No taking care of my plants today”
Moral: You must spend time with your family every Sunday and enjoy the company of your parents and grandparents.

There was a young boy named Keith. He lived in a joint family and never liked being in one. He always wanted to stay alone and didn’t want to be with his family members.

STORY FOR KIDS One day Keith got a chance to be away from his family when the family members decided to go out for a party. Keith refused to go with his family and make an excuse of having homework to complete. Keith was happy that his family members left him alone and so he decided to have fun at home. He called his friend’s home, but nobody went to his house. After an hour, one of Keith’s best friend went to visit him at his place.

The two of them decided to go and have pizza. Each of them took their bicycles and were trying to race on their way to the pizza shop. Unfortunately, the two of them were speeding and they meet with an accident. Keith hurts himself and fractures his hands. His best friend calls his parents and informs them about the accident. His parents get back home and his dad is angry with him at first, his mom pacifies his dad and then on everyone starts to take care of him. His sister, cousins, mother, father, and grandparents get him something to eat or spend time with him. This way Keith recovers faster and he realizes his mistake of thinking wrong about his family. He apologizes to everyone at home and stays united with his family.

Story No 3 Father And Son Once upon a time, there lived a young boy named Ram. He lived with his sick grandpa, father, and mother. His father would always tell his grandpa to keep quiet, his father was rude with his grandpa. One day Ram saw his father taking his grandpa somewhere and insisted to go along. His father refused and Ram still went with his father and grandpa.
Ram was disappointed and told his dad that he shouldn’t be doing it because his grandfather was still alive. Ram’s dad didn’t listen to him and kept digging. Method To Prepare: 1 - In a pan, add milk and boil
it. While it is boiling, add cheese, butter, mayonnaise and white sauce. Give this mixture a stir until it gets nice and thick.
2 - Add bread crumbs into this mixture, stir it well and put off the flame.
3 - Take another pan, add little
butter and yellow mustard. Let it melt well in this mixture. Add baby corn, mushrooms, zucchini, broccoli, carrots, potato and green peas. Give this a good stir and cook it for a few minutes on low flame.
4 - Add 1/2 a cup of water to these
vegetables and let them boil for 10 minutes. Strain the water and add back these boiled vegetables into the milk mix.
5 - Now add salt and black pepper. Allow it to cook for a few minutes and keep stirring it until it becomes a thick paste.

Take 3 tbsp coconut oil in a pan and heat it up for a few seconds. Add ginger, curry leaves, garlic, and onions. Stir this mixture and cook it until it turns golden brown. Ensure to cook this mixture on a medium flame. To the brown onions, add coriander powder, pepper, chili powder, and garam masala powder. Stir this mixture until you get a nice aroma from the masala mixture. To this mixture add tomatoes and the required salt and let it boil for a while. When you see that the tomatoes have turned soft and the masala is mixed well, you can add 1 cup water and let this entire mixture boil well. This mixture will be in the form of a thick gravy. Temporary Relief For Indians US Court Refuses To Strike Down Work Permits For Spouses Of H-1B Workers The decision of US court gives temporary relief to thousands of Indians. As it is known that H-1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that permits the US companies to hire foreign workers in particular occupations. The non-immigrant visa is part of the Obama ruling time which let the spouses of H-1B visa holders work in the US companies.

The rule is active from the time of Barack Obama presidency in US. Few of the categories of H-4 visa holders, primarily the spouse of H-1B who are waiting for green to work in US. This rule was a great beneficiary for many Indian women. Later, in Trump’s administration, this rule was has been challenged by majority of US workers supporting their cause and stating that they want to rescind the rule. The case was sent back by the three judge bench of the US Courts of Appeals to the District of Columbia Circuit. The US Courts of Appeals passed an opportunity to district court to asses the case and then finalise the merits in the first instance.
“Accordingly, we reverse the district court’s grant of summary judgement and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion,” the federal court said in its order on the lawsuit filed by Saves Jobs USA. The court decided and said “ameliorate certain disincentives that currently lead H-1B non-immigrants to abandon efforts to remain in the US while seeking (lawful permanent resident) status, thereby, minimising disruptions to US businesses employing such workers”. It is understood by the government that H-1B nonimmigrants and their families would have delay in settling for
permanent residence. Then H-4 visa holders condition of inability to work during this process leads to personal and economic hardships that will worsen in future days, “increasing the disincentives for H 1B non-immigrants to pursue lawful permanent resident status and thus increasing the difficulties that US employers have in retaining highly educated and highly skilled nonimmigrant workers”. After assessing everything, the spouses of H-1B visa are permitted to continue working in US. The judges also assessed that the rule will cause more H-7B holders to stay in US than otherwise.

More Than 2,000 Infosys Employees Earning More Than Rs:1Crore Abroad Indian IT firm Infosys has more than 2,200 employees who works outside India have earned more than Rs 1 crore in the last fiscal year, a jump of over 500 since FY17, said an  Economic Times report.

Israel closed the crossing points into Gaza and the also limited the fishing area territory’s coast to 6 nautical miles. Dindigul and stayed there for eight years under the shelter of Gopala Nayaker. While Velu Nachiyar was staying in Dindigul, she also met Haider Ali who was rule of Mysore at that time. She impressed the king Haider Ali with her inculcated courage. She spoke in Urdu with him and she shared her thoughts of fighting against Britishers. Both Haider Ali and Gopala Nayaker supported her to drive the British rulers away from India. She built a strong army with the support of king Haider Ali. Then, again in 1780 she faced Britishers directly. She was ready to fight with and
drive the Britishers out of India. She got the information of ammunition store of Britishers. She was the first one who executed a scuccessful suiciding bombing. Nachiyar had a loyal follower whose name was Kuyili. Kuyili was the one who helped in suicide bombing. Kuyili applied ghee to herself and burnt herself to jump into the British ammunition. That is how British ammunition was destroyed and this was the victory of Velu Nachiyar against Britishers. It is believed that Kuyili is Velu Nachiyar’s adopted daughter. Nachiyar also had another adopted daughter whose name was Udaiyaal. She also gave away her life as part of fight against British. Then, Velu Nachiyar raised a woman army and named it as “Udaiyaal” after her second adopted daughter. Later, Velu nachiyar recaptured the Kingdom Sivagangai, Tamil Nadu and made her daughter Velachi the ruler of the Kingdom.
Velu Nachiyar’s Death It is believed that Queen Velu Nachiyar suffered with heart ailments during last few years of her life. She also gone through the treatment in France. She died in the year 1796 at the age of 66 years in her very own place Sivangangai Tamil Nadu. Velu Nachiyar life story says us not to give up on the fight. The story rotates around how Bala clears out all the assumptions and misunderstandings of Pari and Latika. Though Pari and Latika are two different characters, it very relates and plays the living roles in Bala’s life.
