Of course, these markets are all about the “one-off or unique” items — with blemishes, dents, and wear and tear from years of usage, without which, I submit, their value would substantially diminish. When you buy these rare birds, you must fully expect them to come into your life with their history — sometimes an article well enjoyed and appreciated may also be an item with some small chips and dents representing war scars of another era.
