NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! The Princeton National Rowing Association announces the 2015 Novice Rowing Camps for athletes from 7th-12th grade. Athletes will learn everything from basics of rowing to how to race in a boat. By the end of the week they will have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of the sport and what it is like to be on a rowing team. Novice Rowing Camps take place at the Caspersen Rowing Center, Mercer Lake, West Windsor, NJ, a U.S. Olympic Training Site.

The one week session includes classes in hip hop which is a popular, high energy and fast paced type of dance. Students will warm-up and then learn isolations, challenging center work, traveling exercises and basic acrobatic moves. Lyrical dance is a fusion of ballet, modern and jazz dance. The steps and terminology that are used in ballet, jazz, and modern classes are all taught during this class. Dancers work to connect their steps together with fluidity and grace. In addition, at this level, dancers focus on increasing their strength and flexibility.
