《物體不明》上演於熙來攘往的商廈大堂：觀眾會從耳機竊聽到茫茫人海中的激烈 對話。 Gary 和 Steve － 兩個日常生活中亳不起眼的人，在一次突發的交易中難到了兩 位白領精英；隨著劇情推展，《物體不明》將一步步揭示日常生活中被忽視的陰險 與光明⋯⋯ Back to Back Theatre 由不同能力的演員組成，作品致力探討被社會視為「無生 產力」小眾，如傷健或失業人士等一直不獲尊重的現象。 《物體不明》由 Arts Victoria 協助發展， 並獲澳洲政府轄下 Australia Council 資 助。項目最初由 Victoria Commissions 委託， 獲維多利亞政府社區支助基金支 持。

An ingenious theatrical gem, small metal objects unfolds amid the pedestrian traffic against the backdrop of the city. On a raised seating bank with individual sets of headphones, the audience is wired in to an intensely personal drama being played out somewhere in the crowd. Gary and Steve are the kind of men who normally escape notice. But here they play an inadvertent but pivotal role in the plans of two ambitious executives they’ve arranged to meet for a transaction. As the intimacy of their situation develops, small metal objects becomes a sly and luminous depiction of everyday issues most take for granted. Driven by an ensemble of performers considered to have intellectual disabilities, Back to Back Theatre explores how respect is withheld from outsiders – the disabled or unemployed – who society deems “unproductive”. small metal objects has been developed with support from Arts Victoria and assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding advisory body. Initiated through the Victoria Commissions, supported by the Victorian Government, through the Community Support Fund.

Back to Back Theatre creates new forms of contemporary theatre imagined from the minds and experiences of a unique ensemble of actors with a disability, giving voice to the social and political issues that speak to all people. Based in the regional centre of Geelong, the company is one of Australia’s most globally recognised and respected contemporary theatre companies. Seeking to make a body of work that exists in repertoire across time, the company tours extensively locally, nationally and internationally. Since 1999, under the Artistic Directorship of Bruce Gladwin, the company has nurtured a unique artistic voice with an emphasis on the ensemble’s own commentaries on broad social and cultural dialogue. Created through a process of research, improvisation and scripting, new work is realised via collaboration between the ensemble, Artistic Director and guest artists. He has been the Artistic Director of Back to Back Theatre since 1999. Simon Laherty 各位先生、女士，我是 Simon Laherty。我自 2003 年起加入劇團， 我們全都是演員，而且都能演戲。我很慶幸自己並不擅長辦公室工 作，因為會議很沉悶但又非做不可。藝術總監是個嚴格的人，他對 演員很嚴厲。 我生命中最美好的事，是祖父在我 21 歲時，將他的 獎章都送了給我。 Ladies and Gentleman my name is Simon Laherty. I have been with the acting ensemble since 2003. We’re all actors and we all can act. Lucky, I’m no good at office work. Meetings can get boring but they have to get done. The Artistic Director is hard. He’s hard on the actors. The best thing that ever happened to me in my life was my grandfather giving me his medals when I turned 21.

Sonia Teuben 小時候，我經常在尋找一陣風，讓我可以飛得又高又快；現在，我 覺得自己較像一碗啫喱，有點左搖右晃，不過我挺喜歡這樣。我或 許越來越不像個男人，可能是因為那些荷爾蒙睡著了。 我最大的心願是有朝一天能遇見 Melissa Etheridge，她會為我唱 歌，我們甚至會同台演出。我最喜歡自己的地方，是我跟別人說話 的方式。 When I was younger I was always looking for a buzz, something to keep me high and fast. Now I see myself like a bowl of jelly. Jelly’s a bit wobbly and I’m a bit like that. I might have lost the butchness about myself, the hormones might have gone to bed or something. My biggest goal is to one day meet Melissa Etheridge and have her sing to me, maybe even on stage. One thing I really love about myself is the way I speak to people.

陳安然 Onnie Chan 集編、導、演於一身，陳氏畢業於香港演藝學院戲劇學院，獲頒藝 術學士（榮譽）學位，主修表演。畢業後，曾任香港話劇團全職演 員及 Chunky Onion Production Ltd. 駐團演員。 及後，陳氏遠赴英國深造，並於皇家倫敦大學中央戲劇及演說學院 畢業，主修進階現代劇場。在英國期間，曾參與 Circus Festival 2012 和愛丁堡藝穗節 2012，以及創作了形體劇場《Rootless》 和體驗式遊戲劇場《Yesterday was a Lie》 。 2013 至 14 年任「逃出香港！」創作部主管，曾領導超過三十間 密室遊戲之創作，以體驗式遊戲劇場的互動體驗作中軸，揉合網上 遊戲的原素，轉化成真人實景體驗遊戲。 2014 年成立了 Banana Effect，並擔任藝術總監，致力發展、優 化和推廣「體驗式遊戲劇場」 ，更遠赴冰島及美國創作和作公開演 出。 本年初，陳氏遠赴美國參加為期 6 個月的藝術獎學金計劃，於耶魯 大學的戲劇學院作交流，並於同年 6 月參與了當地的 International Festival of Arts & Ideas。
Onnie Chan is a director, playwright and an actress. Graduated from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, she received a BA (Hon) degree in Acting. She was a full-time actress of Hong Kong Repertory Theatre and resident actress of Chunky Onion Production Ltd. She went to London to continue her studies at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2012. During her stay in the U.K., she performed in the Circus Festival and Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She also has created a physical theatre work Rootless and an immersive theatre work Yesterday was a Lie. After returning to Hong Kong, Onnie worked for Freeing HK! (Escape Game) as the Creative Director from 2013-14. She merged the elements of immersive theatre, online games and reality games and created over 30 game rooms which were sold all over the world. In 2014, she founded and became the Artistic Director of Banana Effect, a group dedicated to advancing the art of immersive game theater. The group has been travelling to Iceland and U.S. to create and perform immersive works. Early this year, Onnie has participated in an art fellowship organized by Yale-China Association and HKETO. She studied in the School of Drama and School of Art of Yale University and joined the International Festival of Arts & Idea in June.

魏灝麟 Hollis Ngai 畢業於香港演藝學院戲劇學院（主修表演）及 香港中文大學英文 系。魏氏曾於英國讀書，在學期間入選為國立青年戲劇團成員。 在香港演藝學院就讀期間，曾參與校內演出包括《豐收月起舞》、 《戀戀仲夏》、《秀才與劊子手》、《彼岸》及在 2012 年獲奇雲史柏 西基金挑選代表香港參加在紐約舉行的 Richard’ s Rampage 工作 坊及表演，之後獲頒發香港特別行政區政府獎學金。 畢業後 Hollis 成為自由身演員。曾參與 小息跨媒介創作室《沉默 邊境族》，前進進戲劇工作坊《愛情故事》、《讀劇馬拉松 I&II》、綠 葉劇團《十四》及黑幕劇團《櫻桃園》。在 2014 至 2015 年期間 魏氏報讀英國脈搏劇團「邁斯納表演技巧」一年制課程。完成課程 後回港，成立一號劇場實驗室，希望可以宣揚邁斯納表演技巧及製 作舞台表演。
Trained at National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and Acting at Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (BFA in acting), Hollis also holds a English Bachelor from CUHK. Working as an actor, drama teacher and director, he is also keen on devising and immersive theatre. In 2013, Hollis was chosen to represent Hong Kong to participate in the Kevin Spacey Foundation – Richard’s Rampage workshop in New York, along with 11 other gifted actors from across the world and built a final performance which was shown in New York. Hollis continues to pursue development in his acting. He recently completed a one year course in London as well as a 6-week summer intensive course at the William Esper Studio studying the Meisner Technique.
