The Thirteenth Month

Why a thirteenth Month?

Every few years a thirteenth Month /New Moon, will be added to the calendar. There is no Scriptural doctrine for any number of months/moons.

• The command was Keep the first Month in Abib (Spring) Exodus 12:2

• The Solar only calendar has used the 365.25 day year. This was first introduced by Julius Caesar in 60bc.

• The Solar/lunar calendar will have a 354 day 12 Month or a 384 day 13 month year

• The Moon takes exactly 29.53 days for one cycle.

• Because of the half day one Month will be 29 days and the next will be 30 to make up for the two half days.
