Movement to Music with Murray Conservatorium

Wednesdays fortnightly - April 26, May 10, May 24, June 7 and June 21 | 9am to 10am

Cost: $10 per session, $5 per sibling. Free under 12 months.

The Murray Conservatorium will deliver a child-centred and play-based program allowing children to be actively engaged in their musical learning. Children will be exposed to a variety of instruments and will have the ongoing opportunity to play, sing and move to a variety of music.

Children’s Cooking with Mary

Wednesday, May 3 - Cooking for Mother’s Day

4pm to 6pm | Cost: $10 per child, per session. | Ages: Eight plus.

Bring the children along for a tasty afternoon in the kitchen with Mary Grant as she helps them create a range of delicious dishes. Please bring a container for any leftovers. Closed shoes to be worn.

Back to Basics with Bob - Cooking for Blokes

Wednesday, May 10 - Slow cooker pulled pork and slaw. Make a rub and build the slaw.

6pm to 8pm

Cost: $20 per session

Enjoy an evening of cooking and socialising just for blokes in a relaxed environment. Bob Currie will assist you to make easy, tasty and affordable dishes for yourself and others.

Folk Art for Beginners

Weekly from Thursday, April 27 to June 22 | 12.30pm to 3pm | Cost: $10 per person, per session. Full term payment required unless otherwise agreed upon.

Create your own folk art masterpiece with guidance from Baranduda artist Wendy Cummins. By the end of the first term, participants will have developed the basic brush techniques to create daisy paintings. Acrylic paint will be used on a variety of surfaces such as canvas, pottery, metal and more. Come along and be the creative painter you’ve always wanted to be in a supportive and friendly environment. Anyone can paint if they are just shown how.

6pm to 8pm | Cost: $15 adults, $10 children.

Enjoy the hospitality of Leti Gavioli as she provides you with a fantastic Italian dish. Come by yourself or bring your family and friends and meet other locals. You are encouraged to bring your own drinks and side plates to share with your family to accompany the main meal.

Cost: Gold coin donation

Community members of all ages and abilities are invited to get creative with others in a safe space where you can find inspiration and social connection. There will be warm up activities and new mini projects at each session. Some materials provided.
