The Enchanted Forest
Saturday, May 6, 7pm
Murray River Fine Music is delighted to bring Inventi Ensemble back to the Border, after the huge success of their performance at the Bonegilla Migrant Experience in 2022.
Don’t miss your chance to participate in an enchanted evening inspired by nature, featuring Beethoven’s famous Pastorale Symphony in a stunning new version for seven players.
Pastorale Symphony elicits the feelings of being surrounded by nature and Debussy’s impressionistic Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun evokes an encounter with forest spirits alongside a stunning new work by Melody Eotvos, The Baron in the Trees
Inventi Ensemble are renowned for their virtuosic playing and masterful treatment of large-scale works. What was originally conceived for symphonic orchestra will be performed by seven musicians on flute, oboe, violins, viola, cello and double bass.
