This mural is a homage to the beautiful butterflies that live in our region with their host plants. Its purpose is to invite curiosity and aid the public in butterfly identification. As well, it encourages the incorporation of sustainable plants in our gardens, to support and invite these delicate but vibrant pollinator friends. THE ARTIST Kristina Greenwood is an Albury-based artist, with a background in both fine art and illustration. A love for plants, patterns in nature and the human experience blend together to form her surreal, vivid, explorations of the inner world. She conveys this complex inner landscape by combining mixed media with fluorescent pigments, to illustrate work which is vibrant and imaginative.
