Child Safe Standards Wodonga Council staff and volunteers are committed to the Victorian Child Safety Standards 2022. From July 1, 2022, all Wodonga Council volunteers are required to abide by the Standards. Wodonga Council volunteers must also adhere to the Reportable Conduct Scheme established by the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005 and the Wodonga Council Child Safe Policy. Volunteers must report any misconduct they witness. To raise concerns about child safety in our organisation, or to report misconduct, please contact your Volunteer Supervisor or the Volunteer Coordinator. Training The council has the responsibility to ensure volunteers are provided with appropriate training which, depending on the activity, may include the following: ►
Site specific OH&S induction training,

Hazard identification

Use of communication equipment (where required)

On the job and/or formal training specific to the activity

On the job training in specific risk management procedures as required

Communication skills

Basic administration
