Technical Specifications The Audio Visual system installed in the Wollongong Town Hall consists of three distinct components, an Audio System, Lighting System and Visual Display System. The amplifiers, dimmers, vision switcher and control equipment are located in the control room which is on Level 2 on the prompt side of stage. This room is visually connected to the performance space by a double glazed window. There are 2 places to control your basic show from within the Town Hall: 1 - Side of stage (prompt side) 2 - Front of house (lower level, back of room, prompt side) In these positions there are near identical patch bays to facilitate necessary connections. There are installed Crestron touch screens interfaces for controlling the visual display system. The top side of stage cupboard houses a DVD player, input for iPod and a touch screen. The bottom side of stage cupboard houses a patch system. The rear of room cupboard houses a patch system and a touch screen. There are 3 stage dip-traps (all down stage) which have 2 microphone inputs, 1 VGA input and a 3.5mm trs audio input for computer audio. 2 CAT5 patch points from the 2 control position to the control room are provided, with two runs to the lighting

Audio System truss. This is to facilitate any AV connection beyond the dedicated audio, lighting or video connections. The system is designed to provide mid SPL coverage of the space, primarily aimed at vocal reproduction with capabilities to provide ample reinforcement for a small concert. However no monitor/foldback system exists. Standard Audio System specifications: 2 Ev Xi2123 3way loudspeaker enclosures, flown in Left/Right configuration, with acceptable coverage to mezzanine seating area. 2 Ev QRx 118s single 18� sub loudspeaker, wall mounted in soffits, in Left/Right configuration. 4 Ev Precision Series P2000 power amplifiers 2 Ev NetMax N8000, audio processor 1 Yamaha MG 16/6FX, 8 channel mixing console Dual 31 band graphic equalizer 6 Shure SM58 microphones 2 Shure SM57 microphones 1 Marantz PMD 351 CD/Tape player 6 x Boom microphone stands

Lighting System, The system is designed to provide a white and up 4 colour front/side wash, with 6 profiles as specials. There are 24 dimming channels and a 2 preset lighting console. There are 24 patch points to the front truss, 3 in each slot and 6 on either boom. The front truss is a 9m length of 10” box. Technical Specifications Visual System The system is designed to allow input from DVD, VHS or computer sources, scaling to XGA for projection. There are two projectors flown on either end of the front truss projecting onto either side of the “proscenium� the image generated is approximately 2.4m wide and 1.8m high. The switcher provides the ability to have a different source on each of the screens simultaneously. System specifications; 2 Mitsubishi XD490U, DLP 3000ANSI lumen projectors 1 Extron ISM 482, 8 in 2 out matrix switcher/scaler 1 Tascam DV-D01U DVD player In the side of stage and front of house cupboards there are RGBHV+CV inputs on BNC connectors, enabling input from brought in switchers.

Technical Specifications Staging The Height from the stage to the ceiling is 5570 mm. Stage Height – 900 mm. The Organ is upstage and is not removable. The organ seat infringes onto stage CS. Organ seat - width 1680 mm - depth 850 mm Upstage to downstage in front of the organ - 5200 mm There are three stage blocks that can extend the front of the stage to create a thrust. They can rise to be set at stage level. Each stage block is - width 3770 mm, depth 1915 mm If using the stage blocks rows AA and BB cannot be used.

There is also a portable stage available. It consists of four pieces which can be used individually. Each piece measures: Height 900 mm Depth 183 mm Width 244
